Horatio is well into his hike now and predictions of his finnish date a rattling round in my mind, which gave me an idea, why not run a competition for people to pick a day? So thats what we’re going to do, a little sweepstake action!

Horatio will collate the entries and post them on the calendar!
For now the prize is simply gloating rights - but I will try to get some vouchers or something, maybe even a custom hamster hike t-shirt, no promises though!!

Any film that stars a hamster is a hit with us, due for UK release early february, Walt Disney’s Bolt not only features a hamster, but a fat one who is confined to his ball. Bolt (John Travoltta) is a hollywood dog, living on a TV set, and doesn’t know the difference between his real life and the life of his on screen character. One day Bolt is accidently shipped to New York, the film follows his journey as he tries to get home. He finds help along the way in an alley cat called Mittens (Sussie Esseman), and of course the fat hamster, Rhino (Mark Walton).
I don’t think the reviews over in America have been that great but this has got to be a hit with hamster owners everywhere! We can’t wait to see it!

Horatio love’s his ball - well at least he used to until he discovered his wheel, and now isn’t so fussed! I myself would love a man sized hamster ball!!
